SHALL I COMFORT YOU?

SHALL I COMFORT YOU?

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

feeling my loves entire lifetime.

"

SHALL I COMFORT YOU?

In days that play feelings with your soul

and the night just seems to caress all your inners

“shall I comfort the soul being comforted”

“shall I kiss the divine nature of your footsteps”

seems like a decade of lifetimes when  I shouldered your youth

as smiles and dimples fade to sunlight and the withered brow

comes to rest.

I like the sense of retrospect. The text is quite too small for me to read.

wow that is a lot to feel....and i am sure the speaker has felt similarly and can empathized greatly with the subject of this poem...sharing past, present and future.

The words, honest and true. You took the reader with you into real life and special places. Thank you Alfred for sharing the amazing poetry.
