Sea Glass

Sea Glass

A Poem by skinnandbones

Smooth and dull
from the tides of the sea.
Waiting to be collected
from people like me.

From shores off far away
drifting like fish
on a wave of water gentle,
gentle like a feather on your skin.

From bottles on ships
sailing on the sea.
From far off lands waiting,
waiting to be discovered.

Brown, Blue, Orange, and green
like a rainbow,
as far as the eye can see.
