hold my hand!

hold my hand!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Over my rainbow
My colour, my thoughts.
A pot of gold
You'll find;
A treasure of sorts!

Take the trip
Hold my hand
Enjoy the view
This picture I bring;
I welcome you.

Take my compass
Directions true north
A lifetime of thoughts
I give you ....my heart.

A luggage with smiles
A folder of laughs
An envelope of sadness;
Do not ask.

Take them, all with you
While the journey lasts.
My mind is open
Take the leap
Before I close.....

Permanent sleep.

A door now locked
Thrown is the key;
A heart now saying...
"No trespassers please"

Youch!!!! that hurts!!! So sad and melancholy, but so axiomatic of life!!! hate that feeling, even though you have expressed it so well, its still like a ball and chain at the ankle. love the passion!!! Loved the poem, alf
