Crunch time!

Crunch time!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

As black fin rises
Slicing water's edge;
The target, the surfer.

Thrashing, splashing
Painting the ocean red.
.......a leg....
White teeth, razor sharp
Stained red.

On ocean's bed
Drifting, sandy shores
.......a leg....
              no more.

Yikes! I can hear the double notes now getting quicker and quicker in the background. What a terrible way to meet your end. Chum for sharks does not sound like fun. Nicely done.
