Life

Life

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Life.
In a pattern of fibres,
Clothed, I grow.
I run, a road.
Heartstrings are pulled;
Measured.
I keep running
Until I stop...
Dead
In my tracks.

Thank you FCB52
This short piece has pathos and flows nicely as it demonstrates the life of 'man' is relatively short.

ahhh.. i couldn't help but thinkg of your fourth line as a 'run in the road" to continue with the fabric theme -- i liked the mixed imagery, just like life itself.
