In the distance doodling

In the distance doodling

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Wet horizons
Cloudy the view
Sunny side up high
A flock of seagulls
A no man's island
Coconuts hanging
I'm under palm trees
Alone walking on
Yellow  sandy beach
Crystal clear waters
My coloured pencil
Drawing, doodling on
Paper: right hand top
Corner, I wish I..
Was there. Still drawing
A female in view
I'm happy I see
I forgot her mouth.
Its quiet! No talking!
I may have to draw
Can't kiss otherwise
With my eraser
She's gone I'm alone
In tranquillity.
I miss her already
Where is my pencil!

Ok I had difficulty with the circuitous route of this one Andrew and cheated by scrolling to your explanation to Sereena. What is interesting to me, apart from how descriptive this is, is some of the sentiments as to why you drew such a doodle. Indeed to share an image of something you yourself longed for?

Better doodle faster before it slips away!
Love this metaphor , I saw this as those fleeting moments that make an impact but always pass us by.. leaving us with only the memory!

This is a cute write. I love to draw and also paint. With movable objects we have to catch the whole picture or it can slip out of sight. Valentine
