Centre stage, reaching outA Poem by andrew mitchell
Under spotlights bright,
Glowing red, the heart In love walks out Centre stage. Stops. Then sings, reaching out; A love serenade. Under no lights Audience dark, In aisle thirteen In response. A heart in love Glows red, jumping. Both hearts pumping The connections met In aisle thirteen, she waits. After the show, two hearts Hand in hand, walk the aisle. Glowing red leaving together In time, they find a home. A union is born from love until the final curtain Of life falls down, closed. © 2015 andrew mitchellReviews
