Centre stage, reaching out

Centre stage, reaching out

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Under spotlights bright,
Glowing red, the heart
In love walks out
Centre stage.
Stops. Then sings, reaching out;
A love serenade.
Under no lights
Audience dark,
In aisle thirteen
In response.
A heart in love
Glows red, jumping.
Both hearts pumping
The connections met
In aisle thirteen, she waits.
After the show, two hearts
Hand in hand, walk the aisle.
Glowing red leaving together
In time, they find a home.
A union is born from love
until the final curtain
Of life falls down, closed.

I enjoyed the story in the poetry. Finding joy and happiness in aisle thirteen. A very nice ending to the amazing poetry.

I did and you are welcome.
love's play, played out in reality... two hearts connect in the dark... love ensues... the acts unfold... the curtain falls...

love your script, Andrew... well done!
