undecided

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Unsure the mind
Casts out two
Conflicting thoughts
To fight it out
Centre stage, muskets
In hand  loaded.
They walk ten paces
Turn, shoot,only one
Remains. Fight over.
The thought returns
Victor! The score settled.
When undecided.

sometimes it takes a duel to decide when we are conflicting...and is it really a win...often there are regrets for the thought that was shot down in the fight.
