Shadow's play

Shadow's play

A Poem by andrew mitchell

As the shadows unite
Bonding together, black
Day becomes night.
But noise, light
Sensitive, scared.
One clap, echoes loud
Dispersing, disbands
Shadows, black.
To their designated
Places, singularly
Be it a tree, a post
A building, just shadows.
Balanced restored
The Sun smiling.

things get out of balance....day does become night...we become unnerved, the shadows in our mind scare us...the echoes haunt....but eventually daylight comes again, and everything settles back to normal...
