Entertainment or punishment!???

Entertainment or punishment!???

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Having tripped over
Trigonometry,
Knocking over calculus
Stealing the decimal point
From the logarithms
Sliding abstract into subtract:
Sub-abstracts!

Continuing on
With my rampage
I rearranged the
Periodic table
Bending the greater
Than to equals.

I have concluded.
From my outrageous
Purposeful act
Of rebelliousness
And of recklessness.
Nothing has changed.

For me anyhow.
Being of no use
These futile learnings
Except maybe, mind exercising.
Are, but time
Subtracting tasks
From something
I  really could
Have enjoyed.......
PLAYING!!!!

You said it Andrew, all of those classes we took most have been a waste. All the time spend where we could have been doing something better. Nicely said in this piece.

Thanks Robert Yep when you look back valuable time lost having fun! Something to remember
I think I share your feelings about all the maths we were made to study; and for what. I would have blossomed more with an emphasis on something more creative as my mind was never designed for figures (well you know what I mean lol) You say it in a spirited and entertaining piece of smile poetry Andrew.

Than two equals.
