The Vikings are coming!

The Vikings are coming!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Amplified are the sounds
Lost, muffled in
A hanky blown.
The nose, the trumpet
Blows its horn
The signal: Beware! Keep away!
A cold is eminent.
As its placed back in pocket
Are the Vikings coming?
No! its just a cold.

This one was intriguing and you revert back to type with humour and description of an ordinary situation combined Andrew.
