A fleeting glimpse

A fleeting glimpse

A Poem by andrew mitchell

He tilts his hat forward
The informal hello
Acknowledging your presence
Dressed in black
He walks on.

Quick eye contact,given
Of thoughts wary.
Thoughts move on
Disappearing in the
Shadows......
In a blink of an eye
He's gone.

This is an intriguing piece Andrew as you describe this encounter with the mystery man in the hat. It may simply be that, a chance encounter with a stranger who acknowledges our presence on earth or another interpretation is it is a sinister encounter al a Poe.

thank you Sherlock.cheers Poe
Ya. Mysterious is the word. Who is this hatted man and what's this business he's doing?

Thank you mattavelli I don't know, but he's in a hurry!:0
Very mysterious. Grimm reaper, foreshadowing of death?
Kind of creepy but good.
