Sandpaper!

Sandpaper!

A Poem by andrew mitchell
"

playing with words!

"
Slowly, her sand paper
Of love rubs and wears
My heart away, grinding.
All that remains, the end;
Dust and powder, feelings
Mine, blown away
With one puff
In the wind.

yes, a terrific allegory...finely ground love, just disappears in a cold breeze from one who once loved us.

Thanks for the great review Jacob Much appreciated
A very nice allegory Andrew as you describe how some people simply wear us down to the dried bones of our love and then love is gone.
