On the edge on the precipice of time

On the edge on the precipice of time

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Standing on the edge of time
Looking back......
My points were viewed
Goals were made
On the tracks I laid
My own journey, my train
My thoughts did travel
Now....
Marked on a grave
"I'm still here!"

Thanks for your kind words N
most of us, especially as poets, can relate to this...we do hope that after we are gone, we are still here.

Thank you J. So true!
Ha a stubborn conclusion to reach after such reflection. Defiance in the face of life itself told in a gamboling piece Andrew.
