Smart thought!

Smart thought!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Through the traffic
Of thoughts, heavy
Pouring onto paper, jammed.
One thought meanders, slowly
On Ambleside footpath, no hurry
This thought took the bike.
What a Thought!

makes me belly chuckle sir! another hit in my book ..sometimes i am doing one thing (like reading) and all of a sudden i realize i am thinking of something completely distinct from what i am reading ... the really sad part is that i say to myself "Wow! I can do two things at once! " ;}}}
E.
ps strong use of the ol' metaphor ..i especially like your licence with "Ambleside footpath"

Thank you so much JC
Ah but was it a uni cycle? Another tightly packaged little ditty of thoughts that give the reader pictures to contemplate. There go those damned thoughts again!
