The bells are ringing!

The bells are ringing!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Its Sunday!
Time to wake up
Thoughts on ropes
Pull the bell , chimes
My thoughts ringing, loud
My little priests, good thoughts
Never to waste a day, sunshine
Pull the ropes, ding! dong!
Get up! Get up!
There is much to do.
Sunday lie in, is over!

When I was a child, those bells rang across the area, in the country, nope. Modern churches do not have steeples. Valentine

there is such a chime in those bells, Andrew... even on Sunday mornings the mind knows no rest :)...I like the sounds in this one :)

Thank you FT lol:)
sometimes that is a day we just give ourselves up to rest....

good intentions never followed through upon....

much that never gets done...

but in a larger sense....there is a bell calling us...a vocation, a vow, a promise, whatever it may be...and sometimes we just ignore the ding dong...and never quite make it to fruition.
