Just hit restore!

Just hit restore!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Not a day goes by...
Re-igniting the coals:
The free love you gave
That brushed my heart,
The old flame
Remains.

Forever simmering
This time, the love
Was measured, a lifetime
Became.

Weathering the elements
Bestowed by time;
Never washed away, crying
Or blown away, forgotten
Neither burnt away heat,
Pain.

The fire continues
That smouldering love
Still remains, saved.
Waiting.....
               Just hit restore.

A beautiful description of the love and passion that remains after a relationship ends...or pauses...
Lovely poetry my friend - filled with emotion that feels "real".

When we are truly loved and its really genuine
It kind of stays there
and just comes to life everytime that person comes around

Only sometimes we need to be reassured with action
a commitment for life
not just words

Sometimes we need to not have to restore all the time
We need presence
Mind over matter

Thank you for your kind words Nisrenaa
sometimes we assess love and realize that true love lasts between the sorrow and the pleasure, and all that happens is all part of a relationship...but through it all the fire continues...the passion survives...

Thank you wordman:)
i like the file saving/restore analogy here, Andrew... love settles into a lull sometimes and it does take a click of that restore button to give it life...well-said, my friend
