A new leaf

A new leaf

A Poem by andrew mitchell

A new leaf
I decided to turn
A new leaf.
Having turned
I'm old, scaly with veins now.
I was smooth and shiny before.
I thought I needed a change!
I should have stayed as I was,
And just be me.
