An opening!

An opening!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

An Opening!
Had you not
Opened my door.

Death by routine
Was inevitable.

You let in
The freshness.

That drove away
My staleness.

Through your eyes
I saw an opening.

Now please
Close the door.
