Your humble servant!

Your humble servant!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

I fly to you
With intent
On mind.

I want to kiss
Your neck
Slowly.

Your leg,
Your thigh,
Divine.

How I want
To suck your juices
That river of life.

Your humble servant.
The mosquito.

lol Sorry marcus
you are in a mood sir! :) damn 'squites .. when i was a young boy me and friends would capture them by spreading the skin tight so they could not escape but continued to gorge ... blotted on our own blood .. the idea was they would pop and we could have vengeance .. but vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord .. and most always they escaped in drunken stupor ... yeh ..boys are pretty stupid some times ;)

Thank god. Up until the end, I thought this was going to be another homage to the twilight movies.

I like a twist just for fun Rinzin. Thanks for dropping by
but as we approach her to do all these things, we are often swatted away...with little more regard than that of the lowly mosquito...

nice analogy...

Ahh, nice twist at the end. As a drummer, I've often played at night in backyard parties. Boy, there's nothing worse than knowing he's right on your neck or back and there's not much you can do. haha. That's when the bug spray comes around. You draw the reader in with this one, than, ahh, got ya, just like swatting a fly. :) Nice one andrew.

Always wanted to be a drummer. Good on you!. I dislike mozzies but they love me! Thanks Relic
One always wonders how your poem will turn out, Andrew, and that is what is entertaining...the way you build your lines makes it easy for readers to become hooked...love the twist at the end but we have our shaper of the little buggers here and i take great pleasure in being the mosquito assassin :)

I hate mozzies but they like me Thanks Ft
Those little buggers drove me crazy when I lived on the east coast. I think I prefer them to being poetically immortalized in cyberspace, than nibbling on my neck!

Thank you for the smile, Andrew! ...always!
