Weathered love

Weathered love

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Weathered love
Intrinsically placed
are the droughts
of love, alone.
Blowing in the sands
of time, dry.
Only to follow,
rain unexpectedly
the tide rushes in.
Immersed in feelings
euphorically charged.
Swimming in love, drowning.
Weathered love.
