Night was given
the day's reward,
dream on your slumbers, sleep.

Dawn awakens you
night in return
gives you day, enjoy.

A bed time prayer, better than the one I grew up on for it hinted I may not wake and yours at least is gleeful in comparison. Well done :~)

Now I lay me down to sleep
and pray the load my soul to keep
