Pure understanding

Pure understanding

A Poem by andrew mitchell

I bought a japanese dog.
Didn't understand
a word I said.

So I exchanged
for an english dog.
She understands  perfectly.

This is interesting, because its the same with humans. If we meet someone who doesn't speak the same language as us, we usually don't try to understand them or find common ground, but instead we go and associate with a human who speaks our own tongue. A good word for this is language barrier. Also fun fact, If you do actually buy a trained Japanese dog, humans train them with English words so its easier for them. Nonetheless, I think i understand the point your coming from.
