lost in thought.

lost in thought.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Of all the thoughts
I didn't have
that I thought I had
I find my thoughts
a wandering.

For the thoughts
I thought I had
now placed in the
predicament,
gathering my thoughts.

I have no thoughts
to turn to.
Lost in thought!

Very nice twist of words.
"I have no thoughts
to turn to.
Lost in thought!"
I understand the words above. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

You are welcome and I hope a happy and successful new year.
The depth of a thought is immeasurable so it's not surprising that we get lost in them, the real mystery is that so few get so lost they can't find their way back. No mental maps to direct a thought so what is one to do when all their thoughts have disappeared? Journey forth and pray you don't end up as lost as your thoughts :~)
This one is special, an inspiration just waiting for me to put pen to paper and find a thought not lost only misplaced. Bravo! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap!
