Forever running

Forever running

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Surreal my journey
forever running
on tracks I have laid,
my wisdom grows.

A dream no longer framed
I escape to the unknown
running, running I run;
my darkest fears
I leave behind.

The reality I seek
lies straight ahead, gold.
Free from Wonderland
I'm Alice no more
I abandon these walls
and checkered floors.

Running, searching and breathing hard in sweat until we reach our goals or destinations. A splendid poem...:).................

I will. You are welcome muchly. ...:).....
yes, get off that chessboard or those men on there will get up and tell you where to go..

we grow wisdom as we grow older...and we end up near the end of our lives in check mate...

the dreams become memories, like the first moves of the game.
