The heart that carries... volumes
A Poem by
andrew mitchell
Heavy the heart
soaked in love,
marinated, tender;
freshness sealed.
Later, shared
on opening, squeezed
of the elixir savioured
euphoria tasted
sometimes drunk
til dry, emptied.
Of the love thats passed
not replenished, dies.
the heart lives
broken.

:D My pleasure
I just got that love wasn't 'filled up' again...the gas tank was on E...and nobody did anything about it. Nice write, people don't know what they lose sometimes until it is already gone and there is nothing you can do about it.

How true Jesse and thank you for your kind words, always appreciated!:)
-- indeed... when love is not reciprocated, heartbreak is inevitable... yet we survive...
-- this is a beautiful piece of poetry... -- really like the images in it...
