In the spotlight she was....

In the spotlight she was....

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In the spotlight she was....
She gave the audience
a wonderous display;
memories, applauds.
Flowers thrown,
warm accolades,
standing ovations,
she bowed.
Giving her all,
behind the scenes
at home he felt
her empty.

There must be an emptiness playing wearing different masks and getting adoration, but not really you. I use to be an actress...I can relate.
