When reality hitsA Poem by andrew mitchell
When reality hits
When the force of the world hits you hard in the face, slapped. The dentist forgets to anesthetize before drilling, pain. The bills in rolls, worry. The fridge is bare, hunger. A woman giving birth to a watermelon, ouch! Only then you realise....... there are no oms to help you coming down your transcendental plane at a G force, you crash back to reality... " the Now!" No blanket of psychokinesis for comfort, no extrasensory perceptions reaches out in arms........ to save you. Travelling through... the darkest recesses of our minds far deeper than the universe one epiphany comes out and stands aloud.... in a proverbial word far more reaching.... " F**k!" This is not my day! This is reality.
