The speed of light....twinkles.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The speed of light...... twinkles.
At the speed of light
        our love
       did travel
          then
           the
       BIG BANG!
          Love
           was
          gone!
           But
       the stars
     still twinkle
       on what
           was.

I pictured love being a set of xmas tree lights in this, busily working to find out which light is loose. But when youve got to check, you know something is amiss. Powerful statements fitted into so few lines. Superbly done.

Thank you for your kind words alifea
The stars die twinkles millions of years before and will twinkle millions of years after maybe, so what happens to you is rather small in the scope of things. You take love when it finds you. Well done and your a busy little writer the last few days aren't you. hahaha

even after love dies....like a star, we get that twinkle from it for years...maybe some of that light is good memories.
