Can one have common sense but lack intelligence?

Can one have intelligence but have no common sense?

Well, as somewhat of an expert in the modern phrase of genius/moron, let me confirm that yes, to all of the above questions. Why else would I go shopping and buy eight different cereals and forget the milk. Or why I can do mathematical equations in the bath, but forget to pull the plug out.
Or indeed, why I can quite happily scramble up a meal for six at no notice, but still prefer beans on toast.
Its a very fine line between genius and madness, I recall thinking, as I fell through that line.
I dont need to say which side of it im on now :)

its funny i work with some people who are very intelligent but have no common sense, no practical sense either which really amuses me lol and it's really bad!! hence my stupid write lol! thanks my friend
