I like this. In childhood the happy ending is such commonplace in fairy tales that, you grow up with the assumption that you'll have one too. However, sometimes there's no happy ending, no true-love, no meant-to-be. Nice write

Yes, but hope for the happy ending is what gives us the courage to try, and try again. We don't learn that from fairy tales. We do that ourselves.
