Thoughts set sail, it's war!

Thoughts set sail, it's war!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Thoughts set sail, it's war!
There's much unrest
 in harbour bay, my mind;
settled thoughts of calm reigns,
set sail in anger;
facing the storm head-on
taking no prisoners
as threats go on.
Who knows who will survive
in the game of sink or float!
Who will drown?
Rough the seas of love unexpected;
the tide rises from catalysts unknown.

I echo Alifeacoustic's perception of the nature of thought and love.

This is just my confusion, should it be 'thoughts reign'?, or settled thoughts, of calm reigns? Am still learning the craft - hence my question - but if it refers to the mind, I can see the mind/reigns:

settled thoughts of calm reigns,
set sail in anger;

'the tide rises from catalysts unknown' - despite claims for reason and being conscious entities - how little of the interior is under conscious control!

A beautifully crafted poem!

Thank you Solar!
A perfect example of the two unknowables in life, thoughts process and love, each as unfathomable as the other and both can be as tempestuous as the other.
Nicely done.
