That quick withdrawal

That quick withdrawal

A Poem by andrew mitchell

That quick withdrawal.
Her thought travelled,
the knife she stabbed.
I bleeding,
my love died quickly
on her withdrawal.

I do have the impression it reads quite ambiguous. I like the words you used in this one.

Yes, those withdrawals sting quite a bit, don't they? And o matter how you y, you never see it coming.
Nicely done Andrew.

Rather unexpectedly and often hurriedly one thinks. Thank you Lorry
The aches of love lost never quite leave you...

The stabbing knife was sure to leave a scar. Scars make us tougher, although a little harder to love.

Enjoyed the read! Keep writing, poet :)

Thank you Anonymous for your words.:)
Very poignant...i do not know if i am right but i translated this in the context of a jiltef lover...a man who was left by his lover whom he loved in and out of bed
