From the ruins.
Out of ruins,
time emerged;
castles aged,
stones decayed,
ravens laugh
on tombstone pages.

And they stand still, as we with and decay into the withered husks. blown to the wind. No wonder the raven laughs, probably at our overblown sense of self importance.

wow, i like this....i am crazy probably ....but i pictured a graveyard, a headstone, several ravens gathered, cawing in mock sounds...or in tribute...and the name on the stone is POE...
