Til the last drop!

Til the last drop!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Til the last drop!
In a glass drowning,
the love on my falling
you poured;
when you left, the glass
was empty, dry.

Gives new meaning to " last call " doesn't it ?
On the other hand... love lost leaves that empty glass. but does still leave the glass...

It does indeed Bill, thank you for your words
The worst situation is the half empty-half full... when it's finally empty... well moving on has its own rewards!
Nice poem!

Yes, those loves always leave the glass empty when they leave, don't they?
