Hopeless.

Hopeless.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Hopeless.

Clinging to hope was foolish
when hope abandoned for despair.
Doubt became fear
distrust from truth,
dislike grew hatred.
Situation hopeless.

A negative development of feelings many people can relate to. "Distrust grew truth" is an interesting line, "dislike grew hatred" awfully true. I like the desperate, somber tone in this writing.

Thank you dear poet Vanessaandthecat it is so, as these feelings grow on their own accord.
