Squeezing the last drop!

Squeezing the last drop!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Squeezing the last drop!
Potted,
his idea watered
that grew and grew
too big so soon:
pressures mounting,
responsibilities hanging.
He cracked under pressure
He was no bonsai.

If only J thank you for your words.
I have many a man crack as the management pushed to squeeze out the last drop of blood. I expect not the direction you were going, but it did make me think. Nice work and fun as always.

Perceived Perceptions
Big thoughts are like hot air balloons, just go with it and see where you end up. Well, when you think about it, nothing wants to be confined to a pot. It's as scary a thought as the Medusa's curse.
I have this image of Einstein with that wide eyed look and steam blowing out of his ears.
Have a warm happy day Andrew.

You are welcome Aswin. Thank you
I guess that when you buy seeds without a label, you just never know if it is a bonsai or a giant redwood. Hmm, now what could the moral of that possibly be? Someone getting too big for their boots, or maybe and more accurately, someone outgrowing their environment. Can read so much into this Andrew. Great write.

"He was no bonsai" - I like this line. Your poems read always creative.
The pressure can destroy people, this is what I experienced...
