Behind the eclipse of love hides shy.

Behind the eclipse of love hides shy.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Behind the eclipse of love hides shy.
The lack of depth in words said, shy
looked down upon, by impatience;
the receiver turned, walking away.

Not knowing what was coming up
beneath the layers of truth
to be said, shy heart.
Love took time to surface.

Breaking the barriers,
too late to perceive,
left standing alone,
love retreated.

While shy hides behind
the eclipse of love,
waiting, wanting.

This is really sweet.

I am shy so I can relate. Only recently trying to break free from that coz of how the poem ends.

I like how you included the word shy in it. Shy love. Nice one.
