And they're off!

And they're off!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

And they're off!
In the race to nowhere
through life's lanes of travels,
Cautious tripped over Rush.
Floored, gathering composure
Rush saying thank you
Cautious smiled in reply.
Rush was no more....
Dashing off instead,
Cautious ever watchful, alert
sat this quest out.
The race continued
with Bolt, Dart, Run,
Scramble, Scamper, Hurry
all moving with urgent haste
towards the finishing line.
Cautious, nowhere to be seen
They knocked the wind out of his sails.
