From the Mouth, whose words?

From the Mouth, whose words?

A Poem by andrew mitchell

From the Mouth, whose words?
As much as your thoughts
are original, individual,
the base of your thoughts,
home grown
must evolve
from your parent's DNA.
So who dominates?????
What words of thoughts
come out of your mouth, sometimes?
Your Mother's or your Father's.
How my Mine-Think thinks
on Mind-Think!!!!

love the ending...but this is an often asked question of ourselves, by others as well as we...who are we most like...?

sometimes it takes us getting to a much older age to be sure...even though we develop our own personality...

Sometimes I think I was adopted or hatched lol My family is prejudice, I am not, in fact, I love culture. I am rebellious, open minded, adventurous...the list is long of the differences I have with most of my family. And, I'm the only one with green eyes. What's up with that mom ? hahaha

"What words/thoughts

Your Mother's or your Father's."
Both. I hear my people words of safety and my father cried of go forward. I liked this poem. Left a lot for the reader to think about. Thank you Andrew for sharing the excellent poetry.
