She played her cards well!

She played her cards well!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

She played her cards well!
Between your sheets
slipping into the night
I found you..... comfortable.
Ignited by the warmth
you're impenetrable
became penetrable,
no swords inserted.
I'm not sure...
who opened that door
I wasn't that clever
having no key.
I only do tricks!
But you...
pulled the rabbit out of the hat;
a Royal Flush, straight!
Horizontally suspended,
all I knew was how to.... "Poker!"
But you played your cards well!
Now about that rabbit?
The Magician out-tricked!
"Where is your key?"
