Stuck in ice!

Stuck in ice!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Stuck in ice!
As thoughts slipped
on my Tundra plains
of timelessness:
frozen, floating, fixed.
My mistake re-occurring
at hand, had me
permafrost
finding the solution.

hooked by the title ... tongue on frosted pole stuck instantly in me minds eye :) i think this could be more powerful with small changes .. like make it personal in both verses or universal .. and get rid of starting a line with The ... i think your idea is fine wisdom ... we get stuck ..oh yes we do ..in a myriad of ways ... but what is the insanity ..mmmmm repeating the same mistake over and over ... or ... stuck in a mire of one stage or other of grief, guilt, or whatever!! :) love this poem .. i may be in a deeper mood than called for ..but i yam what i yam! ;}

Couple of stories in there and I keep working on them.
Some problems last forever. You can't break them or melt them away. You just slip and slip until something gives. Nice job andrew.
