Command centre

Command centre

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Command centre.
When the request
      ASKING
    gave way
to the command
      TELLING.
  Pulling out
 all the stops
    shouting
 could  not halt
the firing squad.
   That's the way
       life goes,
         unjust
  on the low road
  to the high road,
        watching;
the World of Corporates
 in snakes and ladders.

One of your less humorous ones but they are powerful as usual. Yeah I can relate to this one well.*sigh* Maybe because of circumstances and situations in the past. Well you nailed it in terms of delivering the message. Thank you for sharing.

thank you dear poet
we are told, we rebel, we know those on the high road think they can command us...but in our world, we are equal to them...

we are rich in words, in heart and in soul.
