Open and shut case.

Open and shut case.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Open and shut case.
One didn't have to contemplate
on the inevitable
for too long.
There was a knocking
on the door,
a letter....
in the post.
Pondering pushed a side
the inevitable had arrived.
The future on hold,
waiting for......
what tomorrow brings.
Today was an open, shut case.
