The pile up

The pile up

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The pile up.
an analogy of cars,
small,large, slick, comfy
pile up on the freeway
traffic jammed, delays
so are my thoughts.

Bumper to bumper writ large. Eventually though the lights change and the words break free.

its the flashing lights of the ambo that scare me. thanks beccy
our thoughts are often a highway of confusion...and as poets, our pens drive ourselves through...and out of the confusion...

thank you dear j
metaphorically stunning ink, Mr. Mitchell. the word play
is amazing...& quite unique; portraying frustrations of a traffic jam
to not being able get your words across...be it written or
perhaps verbally. one as of now I can v. much relate to!

I thank you for sharing your immense poetic talent.
~ xx.
