Who am I in life?

Who am I in life?

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Who am I in life?
Who am I in life,
but a length of string;
to be pulled, tied,
knotted, cut,
or tagged along,
to meddle.
Only to be thrown,
replaced,
or kept for later,
just in case;
displaced,
I'm a string that has no end.

for whatever purpose we are here. we seem to have no conclusion---no determinate ending...we just wait, dangling.
