In a field of temptations!

In a field of temptations!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In a field of temptations!
I did not want to
yield to temptation,
I wanted to swim
the length of it,
to soak in the splendours...
of temptations displayed.
To feel the female forms
grappling with mine,
the focus on thee,
as I drown in their senses,
and wake up tomorrow
in the pretext knowing
there was no tomorrow;
yield,
yield,
yield,
but alas,
these were not Roman times.

Temptations test our resistance to things, our principles and our yields. They are really hard to ignore or set aside and even flee from them even in Roman times. You make powerful statements...:).................
