On a thankit, she took it!

On a thankit, she took it!

A Poem by andrew mitchell
"

a poor man's blend of Robert Burns and yours truly for my muse going no where?

"
On a thankit, she took it!
She's a pleasant girl
having a pheasant mind.
" Come ere ye goose."
" I wish to pluck ye."
She cannoth eat
if she hath no meat,
I'm old Mother Hubbard now.
Some hae meat and canna eat,
and some wad eat that want it.
