If only he paid his power bill, we might still be connected.

If only he paid his power bill, we might still be connected.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

If only he paid his power bill, we might still  be connected.
He's becoming a memory now,
but he was a daydreamer
most of his life.
He doesn't have a hobby.
He's not married,
he's interests are varied,
but nebulous somewhat,
universal one could say.
He cannot drive, he has no need
for intergalactic vehicular travel,
but his phone is dead,
there is no signal.
Looking through his window
from the heavens he peers
anxiously at the world, he created.
He prefers fiction to the real, now!

its not his fault, its the electric grid. the power can't get through. its being blocked by squirrels on power lines and cars crashing into utility poles. sometimes truth can be stranger than fiction.
