While you were sleeping!

While you were sleeping!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

While you were sleeping!
To catch a dream
that flutters by
in our sleep
of ladybird's
pitter, patter feet,
of night stars
all whispering:
" Have a good sleep!"
the moon looks on,
tucking you in,
a blanket for the night.
